Discover how easy it is to make Kombucha at home. This tasty beverage has a 2000 year old reputation for health benefits that include detoxification, immune boosting and joint care. Kombucha is a probiotic tonic that repopulates your gut flora with essential good bacteria such as lactobaccillis acidophallus and bifidobacterium to name a few. This class is great for anyone desiring wellness or anyone suffering from digestive, immune, mood disorders, yeast infections and other ailments.
What will you learn? In this 2 hour hands-on workshop you will learn how to safely brew, bottle and flavor your own Kombucha. You will also get to take home your own free starter batch to practice at home.Store bought Kombucha is expensive and you can make your own for pennies per ounce. Theraputic properties may be compromised with commercial companies.
$65 to include learning how to brew your own Kombucha with a mother scoby, flavor and filter 1/2 gallon of kombucha . SOOBY and all fermentation supplies are included.

Materials:
- SCOBY (Fermentation medium)
- Mason Jar (Brewing)
- Mason jar of Starter liquid (activates fermentation)
- 100% cotton white flour sack (cover for the brew jar)
- Tea bags (black or green)
- Organic cane sugar
- Filtered water
- PH test strips
- Note pad
- Carrier for all your materials
Note: This Classic Kombucha series will meet two times in order to complete the 7-10 day fermenting brew cycle with optional flavoring on the final day. Part II will be May 7th at 3pm – 5pm.
