Philosophy & Approach to Health & Disease or Treatment & Preventions

Today, many people are praying to find nutritionally oriented health professional because they are sick and tired of drugs, hospitals, surgery, and limited thinking. Furthermore many studies reveal that 65% of our health is entirely related to our lifestyle (i.e. diet, seat belts, mental attitudes, relationships, etc.) 21% is due to our environment, (air, water, and pollution, etc) genetics and health care (immunizations, hospitals, drugs, etc.) consume only 14% of our health. Therefore, this tells us that you are 86% in control of your health, which depends on mostly lifestyle (65%) and environment (21%). Finally, it is my contention that the prevailing evidence reveals that:

Improper lifestyle, lack of exercise, sleep deprivation, faulty dietary habits, environmental pollution, yeast/candida/parasite infestations, misuse/overuse of medications, vitamin/mineral/nutrient deficiencies, and unbalanced mental/emotional states are (86%) major contributors to health problems!

Therefore, by detecting, reversing, and eliminating the causes of disease; we have found Preventive Medicine Techniques very helpful in a wide range of illnesses. Furthermore, considering the millions of premature deaths due to

  • Heart Disease, Cancer, Stroke, and many other relatively preventable diseases.
  • The enormous escalation in the cost of medical care.
  • The alarming increase of innumerable chronic diseases.

We must aggressively begin to become aware of and pursue all sensible methods of sustaining the health of ourselves and our families. Also, we must be fully aware that it costs much more to treat disease than it does to prevent it. One ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

I always invariably ask each patient key questions.

  1. How much do you love yourself?
  2. How long do you want to live?
  3. What kind of Quality of Life (Health) do you want?
  4. Do you like taking drugs?
  5. What changes are you willing to make to improve and/or maintain your health?

We constantly challenge patients because I sometimes see them treating  their cars or homes better than themselves! Here is where you must make a decision and a choice to take the time and make the effort to learn and understand how your body functions and what it really needs to survive. We must all come to fully realize that a Preventive Holistic Approach must get at the root cause of health imbalances. And while a skilled and experienced health professional is Invaluable, the success in your personal health quest is largely dependent on your participation; this means that you have to work at it on all levels (Educate yourself, Reading, Experimenting, Listening) and make a consistent effort and invest on a daily basis.

Therefore, I strongly encourage patients to: Drink pure water, Eat fresh organic fruits and vegetables, Eat organic foods. Take herbs, vitamins, minerals, nutritional supplements, super food antioxidants, and immune enhancers. Study and follow the rules of food combining. Practice morning and evening health rituals and body-clock mechanics, and yin/yang relationships. Meditate and pray, do deep breathing, Yoga, and regular exercise. Get plenty of sunshine and fresh air. Detox and fast, love, touch, laugh, and get someone to listen to you when you hurt and vice versa.

Finally, here at the Advance Clinics for Preventive Medicine, we do our best to blend the Best of Both Worlds by using State-of-the-Art Diagnostic and Evaluative medicine along with Complementary/Alternative therapies. We are committed to employing natural nontoxic healing methods that are alternative, complementary, or performed in conjunction with conventional/traditional medicine.

I wish you the best health!
