In addition, you will learn how to make delicious sauerkraut and coconut yogurt. You get to take home your own everything you make in class including a Kombucha and Kefir starter batch to continue the fermenting process.

Store bought fermented foods are expensive and not as good tasting or for you as what you can make at home. Allowing you to customize it your taste palate and or your therapeutic needs.

Sauerkraut- As a fermented food, sauerkraut contains many healthy probiotics that have been discovered to boost digestive, cognitive, endocrine and immune functions. These probiotics also defend against bacteria and toxins in the body and may aid in restoring microbial balance in the gut, which can help prevent disease. Additionally, sauerkraut is an excellent source of dietary fiber, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and vitamins C and K. Just a few of the ways sauerkraut promotes health and healing is by fighting against cancer via antioxidants, reducing inflammation, allowing better nutrient absorption due to the probiotics, improving blood pressure, reducing cholesterol, and improving immunity.

Kombucha- Kombucha shares a lot of the probiotic benefits as sauerkraut, such as decreasing inflammation and preventing many diseases, as it is also a fermented food. However, kombucha also provides antioxidants and enzymes as well as niacin, thiamin, and other nutritious vitamin B-complexes. Kombucha can aid the healing process by improving mental state, managing diabetes, supporting proper cardiovascular and liver function, and by sustaining a healthy stomach. Additionally, kombucha can aid in the healing and prevention of disease via its antibacterial and antiviral properties due to isorhamnetin, a type of catechin commonly found in kombucha.

Coconut Water Kefir- As a fermented drink, coconut water kefir contains many of the probiotic and bioactive benefits that arise from fermentation. Additionally, coconut water kefir is high in potassium, calcium, magnesium, vitamins B12 and K2, biotin, enzymes, and phytonutrients. The good bacteria found in this drink aid in combating unhealthy bacteria as well as cancerous tumors and carcinogens. Overall, coconut water kefir promotes health and healing through boosting the immune system, regulating the gut microbiome, controlling certain allergies, and fighting certain forms of cancer.

Raw Coconut Yogurt

Most commercial yogurts lack live cultures that are gut healing and boost the immune system. The top-selling commercial yogurts are filled with sugar and other additives that are counter to health. Yogurt that is produced using animal products can be extremely irritating for those with a compromised digestive system such as people suffering from irritable bowel syndrome, GERD, diverticulitis and Crohn’s disease.and who are lactose intolerant.

In this class, you will learn how to make raw coconut yogurt that has multiple strains of good bacteria and predigestable enzymes that aides in breaking down food for easy assimilation and elimination.

2 sessions for $125.00 and learn how to make all four fermented foods.
